Search criteria appear in the page URL and may remain in browser history. They query reviewed public listings. Criteria are saved to your account only when you choose Save search; they are not sent to an external search provider. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information. Compare and Hide save only property identifiers in this browser tab when you choose those actions.
Your appearance preference
Choosing Light or Dark stores that preference in this browser’s local storage. Choosing “Use device setting” removes it. Nothing is sent to an external provider.
Your account
Signing in uses necessary session cookies. Account credentials and sessions are handled by the authentication service. Signing out revokes the current session. Account creation requires a private, email-bound, expiring invitation followed by email verification. Creating an identity does not grant agency or administrator access.
My Brilhoo workspace
Saved properties, account comparisons, saved searches, in-app updates, Match preferences and private viewing or enquiry records persist in your account. Earlier private workspace requests are not sent to agents. Compare & Value requests are shared only with explicitly selected participating branches after consent, through the separate lead inbox. Match criteria are used against published facts and are not sent to external data providers. Viewed history is off by default; if you enable it, up to 100 viewed properties are remembered while signed in. Turning history off clears it. Account controls let you export or erase this workspace. Erasure clears active Match preferences but does not delete your sign-in identity, security audit records, or valuation and financial records already shared with branches. Valuation receipts are included in workspace export. Enabled search updates are evaluated on account refresh and by the background worker. Activity updates have separate email preferences; real email-provider acceptance is pending and no push provider is connected.
Tracking and external services
No third-party analytics, advertising trackers, external fonts or marketing cookies are loaded. When the controlled public-engagement feature is enabled, Brilhoo records qualifying property-page views and explicit shares using a short-lived, daily rotating pseudonymous viewer reference. Obvious bots, monitoring and repeated same-day refreshes are excluded; raw IP addresses and browser user-agent strings are not stored in the engagement record, and individual viewers are never shown publicly. Signed-in saves are counted as a current total without exposing who saved a property. Maps contact OpenStreetMap only after you choose Load map; the provider receives your IP address, this site’s origin and the viewed map area. Closing the map stops further requests. Technical request logs record request identifiers, status and duration; they do not record search terms or passwords.
Before public launch
This is a factual notice for the development preview, not the completed legal centre. The operator’s contact details, lawful-basis and consent review, rights-request process, retention schedule and reviewed policies must be supplied before production onboarding.
